Well here is the sixth week come and gone, crazy!!

I went on a hike last Friday and loved every minute of it!!

Here we are standing at the top of our boulder that we climbed. It was awesome as long as we didn't think about how we were going to get down haha =>

There's always a time

...when I fall behind on posting photos.

SO I bring you Feb photo a day's number 7-10

"Button" for day 7 was going to be buttons arranged in a heart, but I dug through my stuff and didn't find my buttons...at a friend's house their little girl was wearing a shirt with buttons on it and I figured that would be a good substitute....well I ended up with neither and had to dig through my closet for this button off an Ann Taylor jacket. 

#8 was "Sun" and with just my luck the day turned mostly overcast. Adding how busy I was to it all you end up with this shot through my car window while headed to school. 

Day nine was "front door" and while I had something else planned (like always) I ended up with a last minute shot of these doors to the building I spent my whole day in. Yay for college.

This day has it's own blog post about it! It was the day I got my hair cut, which turns out nicely for "self portrait"

WOW I have been so caught up with Photo a day in February that I completely forgot to post my weekly photo for project 52!! Sorry!! Well better late than never!

dinner

#6 photo in February is "dinner"

For us, "dinner" is not typical, we eat it in the day time, probably before noon or just around it. You see, Daniel works graves so our typical times of things are off. Anyway we went out to Benja's because Daniel has been craving it. To read more about this day, check this post. Here is #6:

10am

For February 5th the photo is "10am" So here is a shot of something at 10am where I live. Don't mind the "4" date on my watch there, it doesn't switch over until noon and I'm too lazy to reset it, ehh it's right half of the day. 

a stranger

The 4th photo of February is a stranger. A friend and I were at Lin's (a grocery store) and I decided what a perfect place for a stranger photo! So on our way out of the store I looked around and saw this kid working there, I assumed he was about to go gather the carts. I thought he was perfect! So I ran up to him and told him I needed to take his photo, he was happy to let me and as I was about to snap it my friend thought to have me in the photo as well. HAHA so here we are, sadly I forgot this kid's name (I'm horrible at names!).

I had a completely different photo in mind when I was getting ready to post this week(which I was actually late on doing by a few hours). I had a very vibrant photo of the sunset that was taken last minute while visiting some family-friends. Then while looking for that photo on the computer, I remembered I took some photos of these beautiful girls. The tiny baby is part of this beautiful family and the adoring little girl is my niece. The Mom being featured is that of my niece. I just couldn't resist posting this adorable photo because there's so much love in it. Enjoy.

Project 52

This is what Daniel came up with when I told him I wanted to do Project 365 again, but that I know I'll have a hard time like in 2010 with the frequency of my posting. Basically you take photos throughout the week and then you pick one to be your photo of the week. At the end of the year you should have about 52. I'm still trying to figure what day of the week to designate as my posting day, we'll both find out during the first week of 2012! haha =>

The top two don't care when in the year that you join, as long as you do 52 weeks. The bottom one is obviously for the year of 2012.

A Promise

I am waaaay backed up in editing photos, which is why I kind of stopped taking photos for a long time. If I don't take any then I can't make the list longer, right?? haha well, to attempt to attack this gigantic to-do list of photos, I'll promise to edit at least a few photos a week haha....sad that I have to span it through a week, but that is already asking a lot. SO, go here for a couple photos from Helena, MT when I was there in July (I think).

A-Z project

While on facebook, I saw this link. The article goes over a couple photography projects. I have participated in a couple already and loved them so much I know that I will do them again someday. BUT aside from those I've tried I found the A-Z project and thought I'd give it a try. I just need to make a decision on which way I'm going to do it..either find things that start with the letters OR find things that look like the letters. Sounds fun either way.
