San Francisco

I went on a trip to San Francisco, wish I could say just for vacation reasons, but it was for a foot race. My mom and I finished the Bay-to-Breakers 2011 100th anniversary footrace. It was quite amazing, but I'll keep to the photography subject on this blog. =>
The shots were quick and mostly through a car window, so not a whole lot of awesome, just fun.

Big Moon?

We apparently had this moon that was the biggest..or closest it's been in 20yrs. About 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter..... I guess. Unfortunately, we had cloud coverage when I would actually be able to see this "big" moon with good comparison....so the photos I have of the moon are from it almost straight up in the sky..just like any other moon at this angle:

Haze

A few days ago we had this haze that just stuck around for two days straight. It was like we had a big fire the day before. It was strange.

SPRING!!

Spring is here....officially on a thunderstorm day, but around these parts it shows up a lot sooner:




This is my favorite tree around here. It is in this GORGEOUS blossom state for not a long time. After this it turns into a plum tree with the dark purple-red leaves, not quite as pretty as these blossoms are.

Auf Wiedersehen 2010!!

It is the 29th of January in the year 2011, yes...but I was being held back and continued to live in 2010 because of these photos. I still have editing to do for Christmas, but these photos for project 365:2010 is what kept me tied to the last year. Finally, I got all my hard drives in order and photos organized so that I was able to finish those last few days of this project. I am done with it and it was amazing, it definitely changed my photography in a few ways. Little ways, but change nonetheless. Enjoy Project 365:2010 by Glady Anne
I have been asked if I am going to do this in 2011 and the answer is sadly, no. I might and most probably will do it again in 2012, but I need to take as much off my plate as I can get away with. This is a crazy year. I will however be doing a collage project. That is, I will put together some highlight photos of the month and collage them together at the end of each month. Then by the end of the year I will have 12 awesome collages representing the events of the months the best they can.

ALMOST!!

I know many people waiting for photos and I'm sorry for the wait.
A lot has happened so fast and when I finally had time to work on photos, well I ran into a little problem....storage, hard disk space, ROOM....whatever you want to call it, I didn't have but 500MB and that was not enough to work with. I decided I need to order a "new house" for my photo friends and well now I have 1.5T of space welcoming my photos with open arms. I will finally have the room to get all the photos off of the SD cards and then edit them so those waiting for me to finish project 365, Christmas events and other personal events I happened to have my camera at....will get them soon =>

FINALLY
